The “Elevate” furniture, latest seating series from Flown. Its created by France based Marc Venot from cabin interior of airplanes. Venot use the curved components with window openings to form the structural back and sides of his designs which range from a small chair to a lounger to a meridian sofa. The manner in which venot has arranged these these parts, draws on the typical way in which these walls are assembled in a repetitive way, appearing in sequence. Much like privacy walls, brings back the feeling of sitting on an airplane, creating a micro architecture within one’s home. The chairs are based on the contrast between the strong, smooth exterior panel and the soft interior.
